Good morning, everyone. Today is Friday, Sept. 11, and the 25th anniversary of the attacks on the United States. We plan to have coverage today at sourcenm.com of some of the ceremonies around New Mexico marking the anniversary, and carry national coverage of the remembrances in New York and D.C. as well. This week, we also carried a story featuring the editor of our sister publication in Pennsylvania, and his memories of the heroes of Flight 93. You can hear more from Tim Lambert in this video. New Mexico lawmaker’s use of campaign funds for college football game in Ireland draws criticism
New Mexico state Rep. Tanya Mirabal Moya (R-Los Lunas), who is seeking re-election to her third term in the Roundhouse, used campaign funds to purchase airfare, hotel rooms and tickets to a college football game for herself and her husband in Ireland last August, Source’s Patrick Lohmann reports.

New Mexico congressional delegation asks Google, Apple to commit to keeping state’s name on maps
New Mexico’s congressional delegation on Thursday called upon major tech companies Apple and Google to commit to ensuring New Mexico retains its name on the companies’ maps. The request follows President Donald Trump’s social media posts on Sunday that first showed New Mexico’s name altered on a map to be “New America” and then later expressed enthusiasm for such a change.

New Mexico childcare providers struggle as demand, waitlists increase
Last year, New Mexico became the first state to offer universal childcare, but one year after Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham unveiled the program, childcare center business leaders say they’re struggling to meet increasing demands and are concerned about long-term sustainability. New Mexico Department of Justice presents Mark Zuckerberg deposition in state’s Facebook case
Source’s Joshua Bowling reports that New Mexico Department of Justice attorneys led the second day of the state’s trial against Facebook on Thursday by showing the jury a video deposition of founder Mark Zuckerberg regarding allegations that his company’s leaders publicly misrepresented how they stored and shared users’ data.
